Alberto Terraneo earned his Chemistry degree in 1997 and completed a Ph.D. in 2001 at the University of Milan, where he investigated 1,3 dipolar cycloadditions.
He began his industrial career at Chorisis in 2001 and, after the site was integrated into the Euticals network, served as scientific lead for API route development
and large scale preparative chromatography. In 2017 he joined Actygea S.r.l., concentrating on process development for semi synthetic antibiotics and on downstream
processing of fermentation derived secondary metabolites. Since September 2019 Dr Terraneo has directed R&D at Cerbios Pharma SA, heading both chemical and
biotechnological labs and steering the scale up of highly potent linker payloads and antibody drug conjugates within the PROVEO® end to end CDMO platform.
